Common questions
Does applying the ban list unban anyone?
No. Applying only adds bans. Removing an entry from your list stops Retract from re-applying it but never unbans anyone already banned.
Do I need a special bot for this?
No. The same Retract-connected bot that runs your verification handles ban imports and applies, as long as it has the Ban Members permission in the relevant servers.
What does the audit log console need?
The bot needs View Audit Log to import history, and the Server Members Intent enabled in the Discord developer portal to load the full member roster with roles.
Which plans include ban sync?
Cross-server ban sync, the blacklist, the account-age gate, and the audit log console are part of the Pro and Business plans.
