Retract’s anti-raid detectors watch the rate and shape of verification attempts: join-rate spikes, waves of brand-new accounts, default-avatar floods, and copycat usernames. Raiders are warned, quarantined, kicked, banned, or locked out before they ever get the verified role.
How it works

Turn on join-rate spike, account-age cluster, and username or avatar pattern detection. Each has its own threshold, time window, and response.

Every detector can warn, quarantine, kick, ban, or trigger a full lockdown that pauses verification, with auto-lift after a cooldown or until you clear it.
Tune it safely with dry-run
Flip any detector to dry-run and it logs what it would have done without acting, so you can calibrate thresholds on real traffic before going live.

Quarantine, not just punishment
Suspected raiders can be parked in a hold role with no channel access instead of being kicked. False positives recover by being cleared, and real raiders never reach your channels.
Lockdown kill-switch
One click pauses all verification. Detectors can also engage lockdown automatically during a burst, then lift it after a cooldown you set.
Allowlists prevent false alarms
Exempt accounts older than a threshold, holders of a trusted role, or specific user IDs, so a legitimate join wave after a shoutout is not mistaken for a raid.
Common questions
How is this different from join-based anti-raid bots?
Most anti-raid bots watch raw server joins over the Discord gateway. Retract enforces at the verification step instead: raiders can join, but they hit the detectors when they try to verify and never get the verified role or see your protected channels. If your server is verification-gated, that is exactly where the wall belongs.
What happens to members during a lockdown?
Existing verified members are unaffected. New verifiers are held in quarantine until the lockdown lifts, automatically after the cooldown or manually when you clear it.
Can I test it without risking my community?
Yes. Every detector has an independent dry-run switch that logs and alerts without acting, so you can watch what would happen and adjust thresholds first.
